From developing innovative press campaigns to nurturing relationships with media partners, your role will be pivotal in shaping the brand narrative and ensuring the company stands out in a crowded marketplace.  Working closely with the CEO and MD, this is a new role and that elusive greenfield site.  Part of the wider Marketing team with a Senior PR Manager for support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets and influencers to secure impactful press coverage.
  • Provide strategic counsel on corporate communications and reputation management.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content across various platforms, from press releases to social media.
  • Manage PR agencies, budgets, and reporting to ensure optimal results.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, fostering connections and representing the company at industry events.

About You:

  • Proven experience in luxury or premium drinks brand PR, with a track record of success.
  • True team player with experience of working in a collaborative SME
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for sharing ideas and knowledge.

Your New Employer:

A British company with a proud heritage.  They have a Mayfair office base for those 3 office days and a historic and utterly beautiful location in West Sussex.  The company is about crafting experiences, telling stories, and igniting passions. As a luxury lifestyle brand, they’re dedicated to pushing boundaries and redefining industry standards. Now, they’re seeking a dynamic Head of PR to lead their journey towards greater brand visibility and recognition, both in the UK and on the global stage.  This is a new hire and gives you that often elusive greenfield opportunity to really stretch your PR wings.

A keen appreciation and understanding of people is the Alexander James seal of excellence. It helps explain why we’ve established such an enviable track record over a period of 10 years in PR and Communications recruitment.

Filling person-spaces in organisations means assembling all pieces of the puzzle to build a complete picture of a potential candidate – their experiences, their talents and gifts, their personality.

In the world of recruitment, experience really does count. As does an innate ability to read people.
