We're assisting a leading strategic comms agency with the hiring of a director level position in their London office, with this position focusing on cyber security advisory and comms for a variety of clients across different sectors. This consultancy is going from strength to strength and is in a period of expansion, being part of a wider global group, and bolstering their team across several areas due to growth and client demand. As an agency they specialise in multiple areas including crisis & issues, cyber, capital markets and sustainability. They are considered one of the industries best employers, with a collaborative and progressive working environment.

About the Director (cyber) role

The new director will advise a range of clients (both UK and International) including global corporations and household name consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities for the Head of Social:

• Lead cyber communications projects for clients.
• Advise clients on cyber incident preparation and response.
• Work with the senior director to grow the cyber practice further.
• Be an expert in news and issues in the cyber space.
• Devise cyber comms response strategy covering all stakeholder groups.

About You

You'll have cyber security expertise, with knowledge of regulatory requirements covering cyber and data privacy, and experience in cyber incident preparedness and response advisory/comms.

A comms consultancy background would be advantageous, but wider backgrounds with cyber expertise would also be considered, for example legal services or insurance within this area.
