Senior Marketing Communications Manager (Green Energy)

This innovative company provides a green solution to dramatically reduce carbon emissions and significantly improve the performance of fuel. Founded around ten years ago, they were in the research and development stage up until very recently. Now, after significant exciting developments including bringing in a strategic shareholder, they're growing and looking to invest in their marketing communications function.

 

On a day to day basis, the business operates remotely but the team come together once a quarter in London.

 

This is a hugely exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a tangible difference in a small but growing organisation, with a clear purpose and vision.

 

The Senior Marketing Communications Manager

 

Until now, the company's marketing and communications efforts were outsourced and/or covered by other team members. However given their plans and growth, they're looking to hire their first in house Manager to take ownership of this function. Whilst initially this is a standalone role, with the support of external agencies / freelancers, the continued growth of the business will offer an opportunity to grow and lead a team.

 

What you'll be doing:

Leading on all external marketing and communications efforts, getting hands on with executionHelping to redesign and rewrite content for their website, social media and wider marketing collateralWorking with an external PR and comms agency to deliver corporate and financial PR plans, including writing press releases, developing media relations and securing media coverageOrganising the company's involvement at trade exhibitions and conferences, and representing them while in attendanceSeeking opportunities to enhance and build the company's brand and reputation  

What they're looking for:

Circa 8-10 years experience in both marketing and PR/communicationsExperience working in a technical, B2B organisation, where you've needed to turn a complicated subject matter into easily digestible contentSomeone who's comfortable being hands on with campaign delivery/execution and happy to role up their sleeves in a 'start up' style environmentThe ability to work relatively autonomously with a 'can do' attitude and initiative  

For you

 

The Senior Marketing and Communications Manager will receive £65k - £75k basic salary.
