Our client, a dynamic PR and social media agency, specialising in the food, drink, travel, lifestyle, and environment sectors are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and well-connected Account Manager with robust trade experience.

They are creative thinkers and strategic planners. Crafting killer content, knowing the channels to land, and understanding the media landscape and needs. 

Position: Account Manager (80% Trade)

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

Location: London, Hybrid

With a focus on delivering the execution of client strategies and activities, the ideal candidate will be a proficient and confident professional. With a deep understanding of trade media and communication, an expert trade copy writer, equipped to expertly utilise media tools to generate effective and comprehensive coverage across all PR domains.

The ideal candidate will have extensive trade copywriting experience working on out of home brands, along with great trade press relationships!

Personal Skills:

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, and confident candidate. Excellent communication skills, someone who is accountable for their personal growth and development. Who will become an ambassador embracing their vision, mission, and values.

Key Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Public Relations or a related field Extensive experience in trade media, particularly within foodservice, retail, and grocery sectors Strong understanding of digital campaign strategies within a PR environment An active interest in the relevant client industries Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day client communications, ensuring satisfaction and proactively addressing any issues Develop a comprehensive understanding of client issues, objectives, and strategies to provide informed counsel Serve as the main contact for journalists and influencers Oversee the execution of digital and social media campaigns Coach, mentor, and manage junior team members, including AEs and SAEs This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in client relations, and possess a strong understanding of the evolving media landscape and strategic PR.
